Gold Maple Leaf
The 1 troy ounce Gold Maple Leaf coin enjoys enormous popularity worldwide. The Gold Maple Leaf is Canada’s official bullion gold coin and is produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. The 1 oz. Gold Maple Leaf has legal tender status in Canada. The coin was first struck in 1979 and was the first bullion coin to achieve the highest grade of gold purity. The Gold Maple Leaf has a gold content of 99.9% or 99.99% purity (24 carats).
Maple Leaf sizes
Gold Maple Leaf coins were originally only issued as in 1 oz. issue coins, however, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10 and 1/20 oz. issue coins soon followed. The obverse of the 1 oz. Gold Maple Leaf bears the maple leaf, Canada’s national emblem, whilst the reverse bears a profile portrait H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions “Elizabeth II”, “5 Dollars” and the year of issue. Gold Maple Leaf coins are known worldwide and thus are easily tradable.
Per 10 coins it comes with the orginale tube. Single coins are supplied in a coin cover.
