1 Kilo Silver Guilders Mix (72%)

What used to be legal tender is now an investment in silver available as a 1 kilo mix of silver Dutch coins. These coins have a long history and will always remain linked to The Netherlands. This mix of silver Guilder coins is an assortment of Guilders, Rijksdaalders and Ten Guilder coins.

This mix of silver Dutch coins is a collection of coins with a purity of 72% silver. The mix is a random selection of the following circulated coins:

- Silver Guilders 1954 – 1967
- Silver Guilders 1890 – 1948
- Silver Guilders 1959 – 1966
- Silver Rijksdaalders 1929 – 1943
- Silver Ten Guilders 1994 (Benelux)
- Silver Ten Guilders 1970 – 1973

You will receive coins with a total weight of 1 kilo and a netto weight of 720 grams pure silver. Be aware that all of these silver coins have been in circulation and therefore show signs of usage and dirt. This does not affect the value of these coins. The mix of coins is determined by our stock. It is therefore not possible to request a specific coin or year.

History of the silver Dutch Guilder coin
The value of the Dutch Guilder coin used to directly relate to its purity. Silver Guilder coins issued between 1890 – 1948 with portrait of Wilhelmina and from the period 1954 – 1967 with the portrait of Juliana have been produced with a 72% silver. This is also the case for Rijksdaalders from 1929 – 1943 and 1959 – 1966 as well as for Ten Guilder coins issued between 1970 – 1973 and the 1994 Benelux edition.
