This second silver coin from the series is characterised by its beautiful design featuring the ship captained by James Cook on his voyage to claim Australia for Britain – HMS Endeavour. This ship is depicted sailing over the waves and is accompanied by smaller images of a compass and navigational instruments. This silver coin has been issued as Rwandan legal tender and therefore represents a nominal value of 50 Rwandan francs.
