Once again The Perth Mint has designed a beautiful gold coin: 1 Oz Lunar Series II Pig 2019. This is the twelfth coin from the Lunar series, inspired by the Chinese zodiac in which the year 2019 is dedicated to the Pig. The pig is presented against rural landscape together with the Chinese symbol for "Year of the Pig". The other side of the Lunar Pig coin holds the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as information on the year of issue and the weight and fineness of the gold.

The Lunar Pig coin contains 99.99% pure gold in a weight of 31.1 grams with a highly detailed finish. This gold coin is available in many different sizes from 1/20 troy ounce to a giant 1 kilo gold coin. Each year a limited number of these coins are produced. The 1 troy ounce version only has a maximum circulation of 30,000 pieces. Therefore, these gold coins are only available for as long as stocks last.
