1 Oz Koala 2016 silver coin

The 1 Oz Koala 2016 silver coin is part of the annual Koala series issued by the Australian Perth Mint.  Every year a new silver coin is minted with a unique koala design. This silver 1 Troy Ounce 2016 Koala has a purity of 999.9 silver  with a diameter of 40.4 mm and is 2.7 millimeters thick . The weight of 1 Troy Oz converts to approximately 31.1 grams. The nominal value of the silver Koala 2016 is set at 1 Australian dollar, which is also minted on the reverse of the coin .
